“Along the way I have learned a thing or two....sharing is caring! ”
For over a decade, Kim ran MAC Events, an event planning company she built from the ground up in the Bay Area — dreaming up stunning spaces for clients again and again. Somewhere along the way, those same clients started asking for her eye in a different context: their homes. Her knack for putting people at ease, paired with a gift for making even the most basic room shine, pulled her toward a new career in home staging and interior decorating.
That instinct became SpaceLift, the Benicia-based design studio Kim founded in 2019, focused on revitalizing single-family homes for resale and reuse. Kim is still driven by the same thing that drew her in originally: helping clients discover what good design can actually do for a space — and for how it feels to live in or sell it.
Today, Kim brings that same eye to clients as part of SSquared Staging, where she partners with Rachel Richter to stage and style homes throughout the Bay Area. See more of our work →
